Gerhard Geißel Maschinenbau GmbH was founded in 1973 in Giebelstadt. Initially we specialised in the mechanical processing and manufacturing of individual parts in centrifuge construction and the construction of complete decanters, exclusively for Alfa Laval.
In order to expand our manufacturing programme, in 1976 we moved into our spacious production facility in Eibelstadt near Würzburg. We have continuously increased the size of and modernised our range of machinery.
With decades of know-how gained in the field of centrifuge construction and centrifuge service we made the decision at the beginning of the 1990s to offer our services for all makes and types. The primary focus here is on the end customers such as wastewater treatment plants and animal rendering facilities, but also the manufacturers of centrifuges.
The benefit for our customers here is principally that, thanks to flat hierarchies, we are able to respond particularly flexibly. We are now able to boast a long-standing customer base that particularly appreciates our ability to meet deadlines and our quality.
In 1996, we constructed another production hall which is used exclusively for the assembly of decanters and centrifuges. A dedicated trial run bench is also integrated and there is the facility to balance rotor units with a weight of up to 5 metric tons and a diameter of 1600 mm.
In order to meet our customers’ high quality standards, we obtained certification in line with DIN ISO 9001 back in 1998. Likewise, we were the first company in Bavaria to obtain certification in line with the environmental management systemDIN ISO 14001.
The purchase of an adjacent plot of land in 2012 continues to offer us the possibility of rising to meet the challenges of the future and expanding our manufacturing capacity.
Thanks to our very convenient location right by the A3 motorway (Würzburg-Randersacker exit), it is very easy to get to us.
